A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL PLACE
This is one place that we will definitely tell our friends about. When I visit a bed and breakfast, I want to see some history on the walls, I want to feel transported into another place and time; this home did that. It is exquisitely decorated with many of its furnishings belonging to the owners' treasure chest of family heirlooms.
We stayed in the Jackson Suite which held a beautiful, old bed and armoire, a huge Jacuzzi tub and great light coming in through the bedroom' s 3 windows. Since this was our third anniversary, my husband spoke with Lisa and Chris and had arranged for my favorite flower to be placed on the table along with chocolate-dipped strawberries and a bottle of bubbly. It was the perfect way to celebrate our marriage.
Breakfast the next morning was just as wonderful. The menu included omelets stuffed with spinach, garlic and parmesan, giant FRESH baked muffins (not those mini muffins - this was the Mac Daddy of muffins: B-I-G), turkey sausage links (yes, they' re health conscious, too) and cantaloupe. We chose to dine downstairs but you can opt to have breakfast in your room.
We rather enjoyed the conversation with Lisa, Chris and some of the other guests. If you want pay-per view movies, mini shampoos and a cheap rate, check yourself into the local motel for an equally cheap experience. If you want to enjoy your stay in Eureka Springs, meet some great people and have a rich and lasting experience, call the folks at Mount Victoria. We won' t stay anywhere else.

The first thing that made me feel as thought I was in a different world was the beautiful ribbons of sunlight beaming in the morning. The quietness of the reading nook and the sheer perfection of the morning as I sit and write outside on the veranda with my coffee - so relaxing.
Breakfast was so wonderful - but for Lisa to add the surprising yet gracious touch of chocolate milk - my favorite!! - was just awesome!
Eureka is definitely like a complete different country - but to stay here, at Mount Victoria, it made this trip perfect to me, like being in a whole different country altogether.
Thank you for making this a memorable Anniversary and trip for us both. I also have to mention if we have a baby boy we are naming him Jackson - so the Jackson Suite was non doubt the perfect choice of stay! Thank you once again...we shall return!

Chris, you are quite the Chef! We "ooh'd and ahhh'd" through our entire meal! Double wow! Food was hot throughout the meal as well - that's rare! Lovely presentation!

Hospitality to a "T." Chris' directions and willingness to helps in any way so that we might enjoy our stay started off the evening wonderfully. The decor was perfect in the Jackson Suite.

Day 1 & 2 - What an awesome B&B, the Mazaret room was so romantic & quaint. We have had a rough four years - lost both mother & father in-law within 14 months of each other. My beautiful daughter & son purchased our 2 night stay as a Christmas present (December, 2007). Being able to reserve Valentine's weekend was a true blessing to renew our souls and spirit. A few years ago, we stayed at the Walnut Street Bed & Breakfast in Springfield, Mo. I was reading the guest book and discovered my brother-in-law and sister-in-law had stayed in the same room. Browsing the guest book at Mount Victoria, I wondered who I would recognize from the Springfield & Kansas City area…..and I was kidding….but then I kept reading and discovered a former boyfriend and his wife of many years had also stayed in this room! Small world!
We went to dinner at Port Orleans – we had been there a few years before and loved it. Our diner tonight was as good as our memories of our previous visit! We recommend the seafood stuffed catfish!

Jordan & I met in Eureka Springs, so we jumped at the opportunity to return and reminisce. Wanting to make the most of our “mini-vacation”, we chose what had been awarded “The Most Romantic Bed & Breakfast” in the United States by www.bedandbreakfast.com . Mount Victoria is absolutely stunning and I was shocked at the sheer beauty that does not translate on the Internet. The Inn has that certain something that you have to see to believe. Needless to say, I was already more than satisfied, but after a good night's sleep on amazing linens, breakfast was served…WOW!
Chris has a talent that surpasses that of any Chef at any restaurant that I can think of. The food was positively phenomenal! Mount Victoria's breakfast was the single most incredible breakfast that either one of us have ever had the pleasure of consuming. We WILL be back!

What a wonderful four days we've enjoyed at Mount Victoria. Everything was wonderful - the decor, the Gardens, the breakfasts. But, most of all, your hospitality made us fell like we were staying with friends. We wish you many years of success.

From the moment we arrived late Tuesday night (thanks for waiting up for us!) 'till this morning as we're looking forward to another fabulous breakfast, we have felt pampered, relaxed and like very special guests in your home. We got a chuckle out of the two of you planting flowers in the Garden - the two of you were truly meant for each other! It made us feel so comfortable. We loved hearing your stories about the business. Thank you for all the helpful suggestions you gave us. The room is marvelous - the bed so comfortable and - well - we could go on and on - but being big B&B fans having visited many over the last 10 years, you received the supreme compliment when Ray said, "This is one of the best!" We'll be back - next time in the Fall or Winter so we can sit in the beautiful Parlor! Many, many thanks and we wish you much success in this venture.

We are so glad you decided to move here and buy Mount Victoria....we so enjoyed meeting the pair of you and relaxing in the Jackson Suite. I LOVE the feel of this bed and breakfast. The room is decorated perfectly as is the rest of the house. What makes it better is that all of the furnishings are genuine, family belongings. I will be telling all my friends and family to stay here...a home away from home. We are celebrating our 3rd Anniversary and Collin couldn't have picked a better place. Thank you for your hospitality, great food and conversation.

What a wonderful, peaceful morning to wake up on your 60th b-day. The birds were singing in the trees and the Easter sky was a beautiful red. This Suite is very pleasant and cheery and the morning coffee is perfect. This was my first experience with a B&B and what a great choice it was! The smell of breakfast cooking is wafting up the staircase. Whatever Chris is cooking is bound to be a treat! Chris & Lisa, you have a wonderful presence to welcome guests and a beautiful home also. Our time spent was excellent.

We knew we wanted a getaway before an upcoming job change and the Summer heat would arrive. We really felt drawn to do something relaxing & carefree. No airplanes, no big cities but a slower pace. We decided upon Eureka Springs & I began to search online where to stay. When I found Mount Victoria I knew I had found the perfect spot! Lisa was very helpful from the start. We drove from Ft. Worth, Texas to find a home away from home. It was exactly what we needed & wanted!
The hosts were wonderful! I can truly see Food Network or HGTV highlighting Mount Victoria. We could tell from the web site we were in for a treat that Mount Victoria delivered! Breakfast was the most superior meal. It was without a doubt the best breakfast we have ever had. Chris is incredible in his skills and creativity! You will be very blessed. The bed was very good and made us realize that we need a new, better mattress.

A FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY!
We first stayed here in March with our daughter and son-in-law. The rooms were great...beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable...and we had Dinner at the Inn as well as breakfast the next morning. The food was fantastic! We chose what we wanted for dinner, and I can't say how delicious it was. Chris and Lisa are so friendly we felt like we had known them for years. We are going back again this weekend to celebrate our anniversary (4 weeks later) so you know we really love it! We would recommend Mount Victoria to anyone!

BEST STAY IN EUREKA
My husband and I try to visit Mount Victoria at least twice a year and will not stay any where else in Eureka Springs. The Suites are excellent and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend Mount Victoria to anyone looking for an elegant, friendly, clean, relaxing place to stay in Eureka Springs.

We truly love this B&B. This is not your normal frilly lace B&B where everything is stuffy and not comfortable. This is like the magazine Southern Living and you take ideas back to your house to decorate.
The inn keepers were young and fabulous! They made us feel right at home and welcome. I felt we were old friends. The rooms are huge, luxurious and clean. The food was the best! I could go on about the food for days. You actually get a choice to eat IN your room or down in the parlor.
We have never had such a heartfelt experience at any B&B like we did Mount Victoria. We had the most romantic experience. The rooms and Jacuzzis are huge. The inn keepers also informed us of all the happenings and best places to go in Eureka. It was nice to have their guidance. We plan to go back every time we stay overnight. We would never stay anywhere else.
When we arrived at Mount Victoria, Chris greeted us from our car by name and led us up to our gorgeous room. I was surprised at how big it was and happy to find it decorated without lace and frills, unlike most B&B's we came across.
Dark chocolate covered strawberries awaited us in the sitting area, a small taste of things to come. Lisa gave us many tips for our first visit to Eureka Springs which was very helpful.
Our stay was so comfortable and relaxing, we enjoyed the selection of movies and drinks available to guests on the second floor. After a wonderful sleep we woke to the smell of fresh made coffee right outside our door. Chris brought our breakfast up to our room, complete with fresh fruit, apple croissant French toast, bacon, and fresh orange juice, it was delectable and we ate up every bite.
Chris & Lisa made us feel right at home and very welcome, we even found ourselves saying, "Let's go home" referring to our room at Mount Victoria after a night on the town. When we do return to Eureka Springs we look forward to staying at Mount Victoria.

My husband and I stayed at Mount Victoria for a weekend. We were graciously greeted by the Innkeepers - Chris and Lisa, who anticipated our every need--from sweets on the pillows at night to freshly brewed coffee waiting outside our Suite in the morning. The enormous Jacuzzi tub, luxurious bed, and scrumptious breakfasts ensured our return to Mount Victoria soon. We just adored Lisa's high-spirited energy and Chris' unflappable demeanor. They made us feel like family!!!

We were married and stayed at Mount Victoria in January of '07. Chris and Lisa couldn't have been better hosts! They were wonderful. They both went out of their way to help us make arrangements and host our wedding. The rooms were cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. Lisa added a lot of little extras that made our stay special. The breakfasts that Chris cooked each morning where fabulous! We will definitely visit here again.

The beautiful Mount Victoria is so conveniently located on the historic loop for all of the Eureka amenities to readily be enjoyed.
Our room was spacious and beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better breakfast. The dining room was beautiful yet had a comfortable and casual feel with Chris' fine-dining meals waiting for us each morning.
The Innkeepers, Lisa and Chris were most hospitable and treated us like royalty...

My name is Jeanie Barron and I spent 2 lovely days and nights in the warm elegance of Mount Victoria. Chris and Lisa 's hospitality made me feel as though I were a welcome guest in their home. Chris' generous gourmet breakfasts were a delight as was the wonderful Jacuzzi tub ...what a way to start the day! They both took such an interest in making my visit to Eureka Springs a memorable one, even giving me ideas for shopping and sightseeing.
There are many things to see and do in and around Eureka Springs, but one thing I won't change is my choice of B&B - it will always be Mount Victoria!

After receiving news about our wedding being double booked, we were thrown for a loop! A suggestion was to try Mount Victoria and we have never looked back! You guys are perfect! The breakfast was fabulous and the house is great. We look forward to seeing you both again and having our wedding in July! This is one place you won't regret staying in at Eureka Springs!
